"New Era Civilization Practice" Zhubin Town Successfully Held "Celebrating the 20th National Congress, Celebrating the Harvest, Welcoming National Day" Basketball Tournament

On the morning of September 23rd, Zhulin Town held the opening ceremony of the "Welcome the 20th National Congress, Celebrate the Harvest, and Welcome National Day" "Bocheng & Hongyi Hao Cup" Basketball Tournament at the Town Sports and Fitness Center. Fourteen teams formed by people from all walks of life in the town gathered at the opening ceremony. The Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Wu Fengsheng, delivered a speech, encouraging the athletes to participate in the competition with the best competitive state, showcasing their style, level, and friendship through the competition. Representatives of referees and athletes respectively took an oath. In his opening speech, Secretary Wu Fengsheng emphasized three hopes:

Firstly, he hoped that through this basketball tournament, it would further unite people's hearts, inspire morale, and enhance fighting spirit. Secondly, he hoped that all athletes, cadres, and masses would actively respond to General Secretary Xi Jinping's call for national fitness, and take this basketball competition as a new starting point and a new beginning for regular exercise, effectively constructing a long-term mechanism for national sports exercise. Lastly, he hoped that all athletes would always uphold the principle of "friendship first, competition second", vigorously promote the spirit of "faster, higher, stronger" in sports, achieve results, demonstrate their level, showcase their charm, and foster friendship, achieving both competition results and spiritual civilization harvest.

The basketball tournament consists of a round-robin stage and a final stage, lasting for 5 days from September 23rd to September 27th. The matches will be held simultaneously at the local police basketball court and the town sports and fitness center basketball court. In the round-robin stage, each team will have the opportunity to play against the other three teams. The top 8 teams with the most victories will advance to the finals. In the finals, each pair of teams will play a match to determine the qualifiers, until the champion is eventually determined.

On the evening of September 28th at 9 o'clock, the "Welcome the 20th National Congress, Celebrate the Harvest, and Welcome National Day" "Bocai & Hongyi Hao Cup" basketball tournament in Zhulin Town was successfully completed after a 5-day schedule, presenting a series of wonderful visual feasts for the people of the entire town. The closing ceremony was held at the basketball court of the town's sports and fitness center. Comrade Hou Shaoming, Deputy County Mayor of Qichun County People's Government, and Mr. Wang Zhipeng, Secretary-General of Dongguan Qichun Chamber of Commerce (the referee of this basketball tournament), attended the closing ceremony as special guests.

Spiritual Civilization Awards (6 in total, in no particular order): Hedong League, Education Team, Pannongzhai Team, Health and Hygiene Team, Xinnongtai Team, Zhuangyuangou Team.

Outstanding Organization Awards (5 in total, in no particular order): Dacheng League, Hexi League, Sanjiao League, Government Team, Town and District League.

Third Place - Huangcheng League, awarded by Zhang De, the Chairman of the Town People's Congress, to the representative of Huangcheng League.

Second Place - Xinyou Building Materials Team, awarded by Tian Xuechao, the Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, to the representative of Xinyou Building Materials Team.

First Place - Dongguan Chamber of Commerce Team, awarded by Hou Shaoming, the Deputy County Mayor, to the representative of Dongguan Chamber of Commerce Team.

This basketball game, as an important part of the county Farmers' Harvest Festival held in Songtang Village, Zhulin Town, has received widespread participation and support from the entire town and even the whole county. Especially, Bocheng Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Hubei Hongyi Fashion Co., Ltd. have provided strong sponsorship for this event. During the competition, players from each team fully demonstrated the spirit of unity, hard work, and the style of "friendship first, competition second", showcasing their style and level.
